The Belonging Ranch is guided by a dedicated board of directors committed to our Christ-centered mission. Our board provides essential oversight and support, ensuring that every foster child who walks through our doors experiences the love of Jesus and finds a true sense of belonging and stewardship.

Cindy Cundiff

Founder & President

Cindy has lived most of her life in Limestone County, Alabama. She graduated from Athens Bible School in 1989. She and her husband Steve have been married for 34 years and have five children who God brought into their family, both biologically and through adoption. They also have three grandchildren. Cindy has spent her entire life dedicated to loving and caring for children. Since 2022, Cindy has been a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children in Limestone County. Cindy is a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and is diligently working to make sure that every foster child that experiences The Belonging Ranch has the opportunity to fully experience God's love.

Steve Owens

Treasurer

Steve is 61 years old and a lifelong resident of Limestone County, Alabama. He graduated from West Limestone High School in 1983. He is married to Missy Owens and they have three children. Steve worked in construction for 20 years before switching careers to become a poultry and cattle producer for 21 years. He has served in several roles in the community including coaching all 3 of his kids in sports and as a board member and President of the West Limestone Baseball/Softball Youth Association for several years. He also helped form and serve as a board member of the West Limestone Wildcat Diamond Club. Steve is currently semi-retired and continues serving the community in anyway that he can.

Tim Buchanan

Secretary

Tim lives in Limestone County, Alabama. He was raised in Athens. Tim graduated from Athens Bible School in 1974 and from Athens State College in 1979. He and his wife Sari have been married for over 46 years. They have two children and four grandchildren. He served one year as board chairman for the Clements PTO and five years on the board of the Walk To Emmaus ministry. Tim has worked in several management positions in his career.  For the last 25 years, he has been the property manager for our family owned real estate business.  Nearly all of his adult life he has served as a minister of the gospel, which he says has been the greatest blessing.
